Your Mercy Super Member Statement
The distribution of your 2009/10 Member Statement will take place in October this year along with the Fund's Annual Report.
In the interest of providing you with actual results, we have chosen to wait until we have the declared final returns for the 2009/10 year as opposed to providing you with estimated figures. The process of determining the final returns requires detailed consideration by our professional investment management organisations (please click here for a complete list). Obtaining final returns and tax figures from all of these investments can take some time and then, when we do get it, this information needs to be processed by our accountants and investment adviser to arrive at a final return for each option.
This why your Member Statement arrives in October and not say, July, like your PAYG Payment Summary. By the way, you do not need your Statement to complete your tax return because advice in this regard will occur automatically through our regular reporting to the Tax office.
Importantly, in these times of investment volatility we understand that you just want to know where you really stand, so rather than confuse you with financial science, we have elected to provide you with one set of final returns.
